Charter Updates

The City of Rufus is considering a referral of a new City Charter to the voters of Rufus for the upcoming November Election.  The proposed Charter is intended to modernize the city's governing framework, clarify the roles and  responsibilities of elected officials and staff and update provisions that no longer reflect current state law or community needs.  If adopted by the voters, the new Charter would replace the city's existing Charter in its entirety.
